Instructions
For idli
First of all pour soaked dal in strainer and saute it in 1 TSP oil so that it becomes tender.
Now add crushed cashews, a bit of salt,rye,curry leaves to it
Now put this batter in big bowl,add semolina, curd,salt and keep aside for 10 minutes
Now add eno to it and put the batter in idli stand and garnish it with rye and coriander leaves. Now microwave it for 4 minutes.
Take out the idli and check if it’s cooked otherwise microwave it again for 30 sec
For chutney
Take oil in a wok ,add onions , tomatoes and red chilly,salt, saute it till they become tender.
let it cool down and grind it in mixer.
now take a wok add tsp oil ,add Rye and curry leaves,put this tadka in chutney.
Chutney us ready
For Sambhar
Take dal in cooker add salt,turmeric, Asafoetida, cumin seeds,1 chopped tomato and water to it and pressure cook it for 20 minutes
Now open cooker and after it cool down a bit ,blend dal using handy.
In another wok make tadka using onions,tomatoes, sambhar masala ,red chilly,curry leaves,rye to it,when oil separate out ,put this tadka into cooker .
Now add tamarind pulp into cooker.
Again pressure cook it for 15 minutes.
Now sambhar is ready.
Serve it with idli and chutney.
