Ingredients
- 1 cup White Channa chickpeas
- 2-3 Onion
- 4-5 garlic
- small Ginger
- 2 Green Chillies
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp degi mirch
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Chicken Masala
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- 3 tbsp ghee
- 2 Tomato
- For dry masala
- 2-3 clove long
- small Cinnamon dalcinni
- 2 Green cardamom chotti elachi
- 2 black cardamam motti elachi
- 1 star anise full chakri
- For rice
- 1 glass rice basmati
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Water

- Soak chana overnight ,take a cooker add soaked chana ,1/4 tsp salt,motti elachi in it. and pressure cook until become soft, with enough water
- First of all take a pan add whole dry masala and roast for 3-4 min and make a fine powder.
- Take a grinder ,add onion, green chillies, ginger, garlic and add little water in it and make a fine paste. do the same to make tomato paste.
- Take a wok ,add onion paste in it,and dry the extra water and add ghee.
- Saute it for 7-8 min until it becomes light brown.
- Add tomato paste and mix well.
- Add all spices and 1 tsp dry masala in it.
- Saute it for 10 min at low flame, until the ghee separates out.
- Then add onion masala in the boiled chana in cooker and add sufficent water you need to make the gravy. let it get 2 whistle. open the cooker and check if more water is required. add garam masala and garnish with coriander.
For boiled rice
- First of all wash the rice properly, take a pan ,fill half pan of water and boiled it.add salt. rince the rice and add the rice into the water and boil it.cook on the lowest heat possible for 10 min without uncovering the pan.when the rice are cooked properly drain the extra water.
- Serve chana with boiled rice.
