Ingredients
- 1 cup Semiya (vermicelli) roasted
- 1/2 cup carrots chopped
- 1/2 cup sweet corn
- 2-3 Green Chillies chopped
- 4-5 Curry Leaves
- 2 tsp musturd seeds
- Coriander leaves chopped
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder hing
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2-3 tbsp Oil
- 4 tbsp Cashews
- 2 Onion chopped
- 1 cup Water

Instructions
- First roast the vermicelli till browned or you can use ready roasted vermicelli.
- Take a wok ,add oil in it. add cashews and fry until it becomes golden brown.
- Add mustard seeds,curry leaves in it.
- Add onion,green chillies in it ,saute it for 5 min.
- Add chopped vegetables,corn, salt ,black pepper, hing, haldi powder in it and mix properly.
- Add roasted vermicelli and mix with soft hand,then add 1 cup water ,let the mixture come to boil. cover it and cook.
- Stir and cook the vermicelli till they become soft and all the water is absorbed.
- Keep on stirring in between.
- When the vermicicelli is cooked compietely and all the water is absorbed, switch off the gas.
- Serve the upma garnished with some coriander leaves and cashew nuts.
