Ingredients
- 1 cup Moong Dal
- 2 Onions finely chopped
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds rye
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Salt to taste
- 1 dry red chilli whole
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 3/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala for garnishing
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves for garnishing
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Soak dal for 20 minutes in water.
- Take a wok, add oil, add rye, when it crackle,add cumin seeds,then add red chilly whole.
- Now add onions and saute them till they are pink then add salt,turmeric and ref chilly powder.
- Cook it for 2 minutes, then squeezed water out of soaked dal and this dal into wok.
- Mix it with spatula, cover it and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, check if dal is all cooked.
- Now add lemon and garnish with garam masala and coriander leaves.
- Serve it with roti or prantha.
