Instructions
Soak urad dal with rice for at least 1-2 hours in water.
Once nicely soaked, grind it in the blender well.
Ensure no water to be added at all.
Once it is grinded well, convert the batter into the bowl.
Add salt, chopped onions. Chopped green chillies, black pepper. Chopped curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves and chopped ginger into it.
Mix well and keep it ready to fry.
If you think it is watery add little more rice flour into it and mix well.
On the other side, add oil in a pan and heat it well.
Wet ur hands and take the batter in your hand as a small piece and spread in like a tikki.
Dip your finger in water and make a whole in centre of the batter.
Than slowly with the other hand place it in the hot oil pan and fry it well.
Ensure it is brown from.both the sides as you need to keep changing it from.one side to another for few minutes.
Ensure it is cooked only in medium flame.
Drain from the oil and remove it by placing on newspaper or tissue paper so that oil is removed.
Keep it for few minutes 😊
Ready to be served with coconut chutney.
