  1. Soak the rice for 1 hr.make a paste of rice by draining extra water .
  2. Take a non stick pan add milk,green cardamom powder and saffron in it and boil it.
  3. when color of kesar comes in milk add rice paste and keep on stiring it. so that the rice do not become thick.
  4. add raisins and mix well
  5. if the phirni looks thick then you can add milk or water.
  6. cook it at low flame for 10-15 mins .then add sugar and rose water.
  7. when phirni becomes thick then switch off the gas
