Instructions
Boil green gram by adding 6 cups of water, allow close to 4 whistles and than keep it on sim for like 5-7 minutes.
Ensure it is cooked well.
In a pan, add oil and heat it well.
Add curry leaves, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, chopped onions and green chilly and sauté well, till it becomes light brown.
Add chopped tomatoes and sauté well till it becomes soft.
Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and sauté well.
Ensure the mixture is mixed well.
Mix this with dal and add very little water to it.
Sauté it and ensure it is thick.
Add coriander leaves and mix well.
