  1. Take a cooker.
  2. Add 4 cup water ,salt ,baking soda.
  3. Boil it.
  4. After 5-6 whistles and then low flame.
  5. Let the dal be boiled for 20-25 mins and keep on mixing it.
  6. Take a wok.
  7. Add ghee ,butter ,hing cumin powder to it.
  8. Then add onion ,green chilly ,ginger ,garlic .
  9. Saute it until it becomes light brown.
  10. Add tomato paste and all spices .
  11. Saute it until the ghee seprates out.
  12. Make a dry powder clove,green cardamom ,black thick cardamon ,cinnamon in grinder.
  13. Add 1 cup milk in dal let it be on low flame and keep on mixing.
  14. When dal gets mashed put tha tadka in it.
  15. Now 1/2 cup cream /malai and let the dal be made on low flame.
  16. Garnish with corinder and ginger slices.
