Ingredients
- 200 gram White Channa
- 2 Big Onions
- 3-4 Big tomatoes
- 10-15 Pieces garlic
- 10 Small Pieces Ginger
- 3/4 tspn cumin powder
- 3/4 tspn Channa Masala Everest
- 3/4 tspn Red chilli powder
- 3/4 tspn Salt
- 3/4 tspn Mango Powder
- 3/4 tspn Corainder Powder
- 1 Spoon Corinader
- 3-4 tbspn Oil
- 1/2 Cup Channa Dal
- 3/4 tspn Garam Masala

Instructions
- Soak white channa & little channa dal in cooker overnight
- Next day morning, add little salt & place the cooker, for white channa to be boiled (Allow 6-7 whistles)
- On the other hand, ensure the garlic & ginger are made into a paste
- In a pan, add oil, add chopped onions, garlic & ginger paste & sauté it well
- After sometime, add cut tomatoes in it, add all spice powders like, cumin seed powder, coriander powder, red chillty powder, salt, channa masala, garam masala & mango powder & sauté it well, till everything is mixed well
- Once the white channa is boiled, take few channa separately & mash them well
- Than mix the mixture with boiled white channa & keep it on low flame for close to 10-15 minutes
- Once it is sauté well, garnish with coriander leaves
- Serve it with what you like
Recipe Notes
This is a simplest way of doing this, some add filtered tea water to it, some add anar dana to it. there are different versions of these. in South people add coconut to it.
