Ingredients
- 1 cup rice Basmati
- 1/2 cup peas matar
- 2 Onion sliced
- 1 Potato sliced
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 thick cardamon
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- 2 clove

Instructions
- Wash the rice till the water runs clear.
- Soak the rice 20 min ,drain and keep aside.
- Take a cooker add oil in it.
- Add the cumin seeds along with all the whole spices.
- Saute till the spices release their aroma.
- Then add the sliced onion ,stir and saute till onions are light brown.
- Add the matar ,potato slices and saute for a min.
- Add salt ,black pepper and mix well.
- Cover the pressure cook for 1 whistles on a high flame.
- Fluff the rice and serve matar pulao hot with curd.
