Ingredients
- Dosai Batter
- 1 Cup rice Normal uncooked
- 1/4 Cup Urad Dal
- 1/4 Tsp Fenugreek seeds
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Cup Water
- Potato Masala
- 2 Big Onions chopped
- 5-6 Number Potatoes
- 1 Tsp Garlic ginger paste
- 1 Tsp Curry Leaves
- 1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 Tbsp Coriander leaves
- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 Tsp Red chilli powder
- 1.5 Tsp Oil

Potato Masala
- Boil potatoes, peel it well and mash it and keep it aside in a bowl.
- In a pan, add oil, heat it well and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and urad dal.. sauté it well.
- Than add chopped onions, garlic ginger paste and sauté it well.
- Once light brown than add salt, turmeric powder and red chilly powder and sauté it well.
- Add mashed potatoes and sauté well by adding one Tbspn of water.
- Garnish with coriander leaves, potato masala is ready..
Dosai
- Wash the uncooked rice and soak it for 1-2 hours
- Wash the urad dal and soak it by adding fenugreek seeds to it for 1-2 hours
- After 2 hours grind the dal first in the grinder and than rice and sauté it well
- Ferment this batter for at least 6 hours to get the actual taste
- Dosai Batter is ready
Masala Dosai
- Heat the dosai pan well and pour the batter onto it and spread it well.
- Add oil on the entire sides of Dosai
- Ensure it is cooked well, than turn it upside down.
- Add masala potato into it and it is ready to serve.
