Ingredients
- 250 g Lotus stem
- 2 Onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 10 cloves garlic
- 1/2 inch Ginger
- 1 tsp meat masala
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Amchur Dry mango powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
For lotus stem
- Peel of lotus stem skin,and cut it into round pieces,boil the stem in cooker(one whistle) and keep it on sim for 5 minutes. Switch off the gas.
For gravy
- Take oil add green chilly and garlic in it ,till it turns brown,add onions and ginger,saute them till brown then add tomatoes puree,add salt,red chilly,turmeric, meat masala, coriander powder and saute till oil separates out,now add boiled lotus stem into the masala and fry it for 5 minutes so that masala gets absorbed in it,now add water to it to make curry andlet it simmer for 15 minutes ,keep on stirring at regular intervals so that masala does not get burnt.
- Check if the lotus stem pieces are properly cooked
- now garnish it with garam masala ,amchur powder and coriander leaves.
- Serve it with chapati or lachhedaar prantha
