- 1 kg milk
- 1/2 tsp safforn kesar
- 1 tsp Green cardamom powder
- 7-8 tbsp rice
- 2 tbsp rose water
- 11-12 tbsp Sugar
- 1/4 cup almonds chopped
- 10-12 raisins

- Soak the rice for 1 hr.make a paste of rice by draining extra water .
- Take a non stick pan add milk,green cardamom powder and saffron in it and boil it.
- when color of kesar comes in milk add rice paste and keep on stiring it. so that the rice do not become thick.
- add raisins and mix well
- if the phirni looks thick then you can add milk or water.
- cook it at low flame for 10-15 mins .then add sugar and rose water.
- when phirni becomes thick then switch off the gas
- Garnish with chopped almond and freeze it . serve chilled.
