Ingredients
- 1 cup Semolina Suji
- 1 cup Curd
- 1/4 cup Water or little less just to make the batter consistency medium
- 1/8 tsp Salt to taste
- 2 Green Chillies (chopped finely)
- 2-3 tsp Oil
- 3/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 8-10 Curry Leaves kadi patta
- 1 pinch Asafoetida Hing
- 2-3 tsp Coriander leaves chopped finely
- 2 tsp Chana Dal Split bengal gram
- 3/4 tsp eno salt
- 2 Onion small chopped finely

Instructions
- Take a bowl and put suji,curd,salt green chillies,coriander leaves and mix it well..
- For tempering:
- In a wok...add oil,mustard seeds hing,Kari leaves and split Bengal gram
- When you hear it sputter..switch off the stove and put this in the batter.
- Keep this batter aside for half an hour
- Add eno and mix it well...u will see it fermenting..
- Now take a paddu griddle and brush oil in it..pour this batter in each cup..and pour a drop of oil on each cup..
- Cover it with a lid for some time...until the paddus turn light brown
- Toss them upside down to cook the other side..(do not Cover with a lid once you turn them)
- Wait for another five minutes till they are done..
- Serve immediately with mint chutney or coconut chutney.

For variation you can also add grated carrot,chopped tomatoes
