Ingredients
- 1/2 Kg Red snapper called Sankara fish in Tamil
- 1 Tbsp Garlic ginger paste
- 3-5 Number garlic Pieces
- 100 Gram small onions chopperd ones...Famous in South India
- 5-6 Number tomatoes Chopped
- 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 Tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 Tsp Sambar Powder
- 1 Tsp black pepper
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 1 Tsp Coriander powder
- 1 Cup Tamarind water after filtering
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Coriander leaves
- 1 Tsp Fenugreek seeds

Instructions
- In a bowl, take the fish and add salt and clean it well with water.
- After cleaning marinate by adding turmeric powder and red chilly powder.
- In a pan, add oil and hear it well.
- Add chopped small onions and fenugreek seeds and sauté well till it becomes soft and light brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes and sauté well again.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, sambar powder, coriander seeds powder, black pepper and salt
- Sauté it well till tomatoes are cooked well and turns soft.
- Add tamarind water and water as required to make the gravy.
- Cook well till it becomes a nice gravy.
- Add marinated fish 🐟 and sauté well.
- Fishes are generally cooked faster
- Keep it on stove so that fish is cooked well
- When done, garnish with coriander leaves.
- Best to be served with plain rice.

onions and tomatoes can be grinded and also used to give it like a typical gravy.
