Ingredients
- 1 Cup whole green moong dal Green gram
- 2 Big Onions chopped
- 2 Number Green Chillies cut long
- 2 Big tomatoes chopped
- 4-5 Pieces garlic chopped
- 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 Tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 Tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 Tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Tbsp Curry Leaves
- 1 Tbsp Coriander leaves
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Boil green gram by adding 6 cups of water, allow close to 4 whistles and than keep it on sim for like 5-7 minutes.
- Ensure it is cooked well.
- In a pan, add oil and heat it well.
- Add curry leaves, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, chopped onions and green chilly and sauté well, till it becomes light brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes and sauté well till it becomes soft.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and sauté well.
- Ensure the mixture is mixed well.
- Mix this with dal and add very little water to it.
- Sauté it and ensure it is thick.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well.
