Ingredients
- For vadas
- 1 Bowl Urad Dal White Maa dhoti daal
- 10 Pieces Cashews
- 10 Pieces raisins
- 1 Tsp black salt
- 1 Green Chilli
- 1/2 Inch Ginger
- 5 cups Oil for frying
- For the curd
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Chaat Masala
- 10 Leaves mint leaves
- 1/2 Tsp black salt
- 1/2 Tsp ground cumin jeera powder
- 1 Tbsp tamarind chutney
- 10 Leaves Coriander
- 2 cups Curd

For vadas
- First of all soak white dal for 5/6 hrs or overnight
- Now drain the water using sieve and grind it in mixer,during grinding add ginger,salt,jeers,coriander leaves,baking powder.the mixture shoUld be as in the pic,to check whether your batter is ready just make a ball of batter and put it bowl of water,if it floats over water then ur batter is ready now.
- Now apply water on your hand and take batter on your hand and add cashews and raisins in it and make hole as shown in pic
- Now pour it using other hand into kadai and deep fry them till golden brown,gas should not be too high otherwise Wadas will not cook from inside
- Now take out the fried vadas and put it in sieve so that extra oil pours out
- Now soak these Vadas in water for 15 -20 minutes.wipe the water,from them,now vadas are ready to be added into the curd
For curd
- Beat the curd ,add milk if curd is very thick(not necessary), now add vadas to it,add salt,black salt,chaat masala,mint leaves,chopped coriander leaves,tamarind chutney,cumin powder
