Ingredients
- 1 Cup cooked rice No basmati rice
- 1 Big Onion Chopped
- 2 Green Chillies Chopped
- 1 Tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 Tbsp Curry Leaves
- 1 Tsp Channa Dal gram dal
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 2-3 Number garlic nicely chopped
- 1/2 Tsp Ginger Grated
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Grated
- 2 Tbsp Coriander leaves
- 2 Tsp Oil

Instructions
- Cook rice and keep it aside till it comes to room temperature Or use left over plain boiled rice.
- In a pan, add oil and heat it well.
- Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add channa dal, chopped onions, chopped chillies, chopped garlic and grated ginger.
- Sauté it well till onions become soft.
- Add cooked rice and mix well.
- Switch off the stove and add grated coconut to it.
- Mix it well and garnish with coriander leaves and/or fresh coconut.
- Ready to serve.

can be made from left over rice too 😊
