Ingredients
- 500 gm White Channa Kabuli channe, chick peas, garbanzo beans
- 5-6 Onion chopped
- 4-5 Green Chillies chopped
- 1-2 tomatoes chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 black cardamom motti ilachi
- 6 tbsp Channa Masala
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tsp dry masala
- For dry masala
- 2 Green cardamom chooti ilachi
- 2 black cardamom motti ilachi
- 1 star anise full chakri
- 3-4 clove long
- 1 piece Cinammon dalchini

Instructions
- Soak white chana in water overnight.
- Take a cooker add chana,black cardamom,salt and sufficient water and let it get 3-4 whistles so that chana becomes slightly soft.
- Take a wok .
- Add ghee ,onion ,green chillies in it and mix well.
- Cook until it changes its color to light brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes.
- Add salt ,red chilli powder ,channa masala ,black pepper ,coriander powder ,cumin powder ,turmeric in it.
- Mix well.
- Saute it until the tomatoes become soft.
- Add dry masala and mix well.
- Drain the water from the chana .
- Now add the boiled chana in the masala.
- Add 2 tbsp soya sauce and mix well.
- Check the colour and taste of the chana ,add if soya sauce or any masala is required.
- Mix well and cover the wok.
- Cook it for another 5-7 mins.
- Garnish with tomatoes ,onion rings and green chillies.
- Serve it with naan or prantha.
dry masala
- Dry roast the all dry masala for few min grind it and make a powder.
