Ingredients
- 1 cup Gram flour besan
- 5 slices Bread white /brown
- 1/4 cup Onion chopped
- 2-3 Green Chillies chopped
- 1/4 cup Coriander leaves chopped
- 1/4 cup carrots finely chopped
- 1/4 cup Capsicum chopped
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp degi mirch
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder jerra powder
- 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
- 2-3 tbsp Oil

- Take a bowl, add besan, all chopped vegetables in it.
- Add all spices,coriander leaves ,and add water whisk to a medium consistency batter,they should be no lumps in the batter.do not make thin batter.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil for frying in a non-stick tava or frying pan.
- Slice the bread in two triangular or rectangular slices.
- Dip the bread in the batter,with soft your hands,coat the bread evenly with the batter.also place the chopped vegetables on the bread slices with your hands.
- Keep the bread too long in the batter as then the slice breaks.
- Place the bread on the tava.when the base is cooked and browned, flip and fry the other side.
- Cook the bread slice both sides until it becomes golden brown. if required you can add extra oil
- Serve the besan french toast immediately with tomato sauce or coriander chutney.
