Ingredients
- 1 cup rice bolied
- 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 cup raw mangoes chopped
- 1/2 cup Coconut peel and cut into small pieces
- 1/4 tbsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder hing
- 2 Dry red chillies
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup peanut raw
- few Curry Leaves
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 2-3 Green Chillies
- For ambi mung dal
- 1 cup Moong Dal (Yellow Dal - Lentils Split) petite yellow lentils
- 2 cup Water
- 2 Onion chopped
- 2 Green Chillies
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 5-6 garlic chopped
- 2 Dry red chillies
- 1 tsp musturd seeds
- few Curry Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp degi mirch
- 1/2 cup raw mangoes peel and chopped
- 2 tbsp Ginger chopped
- Coriander leaves chopped
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala

Instructions
For rice
- First of all take a grinder,add coconut,green chillies,raw mango in it, add some water and make a fine paste.
- Take a pan.
- Add ghee,mustard seeds,curry leaves in it.saute it for 2 min ,then add urad dal,chana dal, peanut in it, mix well and saute it for 7-8 min.
- Add coconut paste and mix well.
- Saute it for 7-8 min until the ghee separates out.
- Add salt. black pepper, red chilli powder, hing, haldi powder, in it and mix well.
- Then add boiled rice and mix properly.
- Mango rice is ready.
For ambi mung dal
- Take a cooker,add mung dal,1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp haldi in it.
- let it get one whistle and then switch off the gas. if required you can add some water.
For tadka..
- Take a pan ,add ghee ,garlic in it, saute it becomes until light brown.
- Add onion, green chillies ,ginger in it, saute it for 5 min, then add tomatoes ,mustard seeds, curry leaves and cook for 5-6 min until its become soft.
- Then add raw chopped mango and add some water in it.
- Cover the pan and cook for 7-8 min at low flame.
- Then add boiled mung dal and mix well.
- Garnish with garam masala and coriander leaves.
- Serve ambi mung dal with ambi rice.
